INCARCERATION |
During their lifetimes many Christians will know someone who has been incarcerated among their friends, church families, or their own relatives. You may have opportunities to pray for, support and encourage someone serving time in prison or their family members. God challenges us to “remember the prisoners as if chained to them - those that are mistreated - since you yourselves are in the body also” (Hebrews 13:3). God reminds us of our connections with other members of Christ’s Body, His Church, that may be experiencing distressing situations and need our compassion.
