aftercare
Golden Key Prison Ministry is both supporting and partnering with the 12;01 Ministry, an aftercare outreach. 12;01 ministers to females who are newly released from incarceration.. The name 12;01 is derived from their release time of one minute after midnight. This can be a pivotal time for those emerging from prison. The decisions they make in those first minutes shape their days, months, and even years to come.
12;01 provides immediate support with resources, short term housing, counsel, and mentoring while assisting transition into a productive lifestyle." If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at https://www.facebook.com/1201Ministry/ |
Chaplain Dave Knuppenburg and the team of faithful volunteers at Chemung County Jail do many weekly one-on-one discipleship meetings with the male and female inmates. As someone gets closer to release they are encouraged to join one of the welcoming churches in the local community.
Men and women leaving the Chemung County Jail are invited to attend Golden Key Fellowship held at Pine Valley Methodist Church at 188 Pine Valley Road in Pine Valley, NY 14872. The meeting is held every Sunday night at 5:00 PM and includes worship, prayer and an in-depth study of God’s Word. The services are led by Chaplain Dave Knuppenburg.
