As Pastor Curt has weekly one-on-one conversations with male, and some female inmates, he develops godly relationships that he hopes will continue beyond the walls. These inmates receive contact information so they can stay in touch once they return to their homes and communities. Some individuals meet and commit their lives and wills to Christ while behind bars and the discipleship began in prison needs to follow them as they leave.
The Celebrate Recovery Inside team does an excellent job of following through with men and women after their release. A team of dedicated female volunteers visit female inmates while incarcerated and provide mentoring once released. Individuals are strongly encouraged to attend any of several Celebrate Recovery meetings held weekly at local churches in Broome County.
Pastor Curt has been collaborating with Broome County Chaplain Cris Mogensen and the Broome County Council of Churches in training local church members to volunteer as mentors to those being released from Broome County Jail.

Pastor Curt stays in weekly contact with several ex-prisoners living in the Broome County area. Beginning in March 2013, KeyPoint Fellowship for Men was launched at Crosspoint Community Church on 1 Grand Blvd in Binghamton, NY. This will serve as a weekly place of fellowship, accountability, and spiritual development. We meet every Wednesday at 6:00 PM.
Some men leaving the Broome County Jail have no place to go and take up residence at The Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, Volunteers of America or other residential addiction treatment centers in the county. We attempt to stay in touch with them as they work towards living independently in the community.
